Is this SSL certificate really free?
Yes. Certificates are issued by Let's Encrypt, a free, non-profit certificate authority trusted by all major browsers.
Does it support wildcard SSL (*.example.com)?
Yes. Choose DNS verification and enter *.example.com. Wildcards cannot be verified with a file upload.
How long is the certificate valid?
90 days. Generate a new certificate before it expires. You can opt in to an email reminder 7 days before.
Where do I install the certificate?
In your hosting control panel's SSL/TLS page (for example cPanel), paste the Certificate, Private key and CA Bundle. On Nginx use fullchain.pem.
